My parents took the four of us for a wonderful, fun-filled adventure the first week in July. Since we did so much stuff and I took lots of pictures, I thought I would break up the blogs by days. Some days will require a couple of parts. But here we go.
Prior to day one, began the preparation. I wanted the girls to have cute shirts to wear to the Magic Kingdom, so around here you turn to "Gigi's Creations". I picked out the material and made a Mickey silhouette from the Cricuit machine. Then Gigi worked her magic. This is how they turned out:

I loved them. My plan was to add a pink bow, to turn the Mickey into a Minnie, but it didn't work out. But they were so cute. We even got compliments on them at Disney World.
My other project was to make autograph books. I didn't want to just buy the ones that everyone has. So I purchased little black spiral notebooks with blank cardstock paper inside. They were on the scrapbook isle at Hobby Lobby. Then I cricuted a super cute Minnie Mouse and welded the girls names using the gypsy.

Didn't they turn out so cute. I then attached a ring to one of the spirals with a mini sharpie attached. A note to anyone else that plans on going to Disney World, take a full size sharpie. The characters with "paws" have a very hard time gripping the small markers.
We left my parents house on a Friday morning at 6:30. So we spent the night there Thursday night. We had already pre-loaded the van. So we were ready to go that next morning. We stopped and had breakfast in Conway. Then on the road again.

Then they enjoyed chicken strip, french fries, and chocolate shakes. The lunch for champions, Right? Anyway, what is vacation for!

I love it and don't think it's boring at all, so document away.
ReplyDeleteI didn't even think about characters being able to hold a little sharpie.... The girls look so cute and happy. Glad you guys had a fun time. Can't wait to read more and see more pics!
